Under Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (ICM), the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance welcomed two academics, Fadi Deeb and Ahmad Al Khatib, BirZeit University, Palestine in April for a week of teaching, exchange and collaboration, reciprocating a visit by Dr Niall Keegan and Avril Mc Loughlin to Palestine earlier this year.

To celebrate the occasion UL were joined by Mary May and Mary Dunne, Higher Education Authority( National Agency for Erasmus+ Higher Education) and the Palestine Ambassador Mr. Ahmad Abdelrazek and guests.

A morning of performances by students showcased the talents and expertise in the teaching and learning of music and dance. Guests were treated to music from both Ireland and Palestine, with a captivating blended performance using traditional instruments from both countries.
