The Higher Education Authority wishes to advise all applicants that, due to ongoing delays caused by the global COVID-19 pandemic, a further extension to the release date of results for the 2020 GOI-IES competition is necessary. The Higher Education Authority aims to advise all applicants of their results via email by 5pm (Irish Time) Friday 31 July 2020 at the latest.

The Higher Education Authority would like to thank all GOI-IES applicants for their patience and understanding during these difficult times.

The Higher Education Authority wishes to advise all applicants that, due to delays caused by the global COVID-19 pandemic, an extension to the release date of results for the 2020 GOI-IES competition is necessary. Deadline Extension – 20/03/2020

The Higher Education Authority wishes to notify all intending applicants that due to the introduction of the necessary measures to deal with the COVID-19 outbreak, the deadline for the submission of applications for the Government of Ireland International Education Scholarships Programme Call 2020 has been extended to Friday 17 April 2020.  The HEA will do its utmost to minimise the delays in the process so that awardees can be informed as quickly as possible.

Government of Ireland International Education Scholarships Programme Call 2020

 

The Higher Education Authority (HEA) is pleased to issue the 2020 Call under the Government of Ireland International Education Scholarships Programme.  Under the initiative 60 scholarships will be provided for one year study at Bachelor, Master or PhD levels to successful candidates who have an offer of a place at an eligible Irish higher education institution.

 

The offer is open to students from non-EU/EEA countries and is applicable to all fields of study.

 

Students who are successful will receive:

  • A €10,000 stipend for one year’s study
  • A full fee waiver of all tuition and other registration costs at the higher education institution

 

Applications can be submitted via the online portal here.

 

The deadline for the submission of applications is 5pm (Irish Time) 17 April 2020
