RIA Gold Medals 2017 – Call Announced

The 2017 call for nominations for the Royal Irish Academy Gold Medals in the Social Sciences, the Environmental Sciences and Geosciences has been made.  In 2017, one Gold Medal will be awarded in each of the named areas.

Since the Gold Medals were first awarded by the President of Ireland in 2005, their significance is reflected in the distinguished international standing of the scholars who have been recognised.

The deadline for receipt of nominations is Wednesday, 24 May at 5 p.m.
