The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) in Brussels has published the list of projects selected under the 2nd call for proposals of the Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme: https://eacea.ec.europa.eu/intra-africa/selection-results/intra-africa-academic-mobility-scheme-2017_en.

The programme funds partnerships of higher education institutions (HEIs) from different African countries with technical support of EU HEIs, and grants scholarships for African students and university staff to carry out studies, research, teaching or training in another African country.

It focuses on the organisation and implementation of mobility at Master and PhD level, as well as both academic and administrative staff. The 7 selected projects will offer 450 scholarship opportunities during a 5-year implementation period, including 273 Master students (61%), 108 PhD candidates (24%) and 69 academic and administrative staff members (15%).

A 3rd call for proposals might be launched in the coming years, however this is still to be confirmed through a Commission decision.
