Traineeships to be part of International Credit Mobility Action in 2018

Erasmus+ KA 107 International Credit Mobility has taken another step forward with the announcement that from 2018, traineeships will be introduced.  The main features are

  • Study Mobility for Traineeships (SMP) from Call 2018 (deadline ~02/2018)
  • The grant rates will be exactly the same as for KA107 SMS (study) mobility
  • The minimum and maximum duration, however, will be the same as for KA103 (2 months minimum) or 3 months if combined
  • Combining incoming SMP and SMS won’t be mandatory but is encouraged
  • The restrictions that apply to outgoing EDF and DCI SMS mobility will apply also to SMP mobility
  • The name of the partner organisation (for the traineeship mobility, or staff mobility from enterprise) will not be compulsory in the application form
  • The learning agreement and mobility agreement will be tripartite for outgoing SMP, and quadripartite for incoming SMP (or combined outgoing)
  • Unlike KA103, the scheme will not be open to recent graduates
  • However, the scheme will allow staff mobility from enterprises (for teaching and training)
