Universities UK International has launched ‘Widening Participation in Outward Student Mobility – A toolkit to support inclusive approaches’ at an event in Brussels.

The toolkit complements the report published by UUK in August 2017, as part two of an Erasmus+ Key Action 3 project on widening participation in outward student mobility. It contains a number of recommendations and best practice case studies from 20 UK HEIs to support institutions across Europe to increase participation by students from disadvantaged and underrepresented backgrounds in outward mobility.

You can find the toolkit here and the report.

At the same event, the Irish Universities Association also presented their Erasmus+ Key Action 3 project on widening participation in outward mobility, which seeks to address European higher education modernisation challenges associated with social inclusion, employability, skills and internationalisation. Gerry O’Sullivan will also share this with you when finalised.
