Overview:

The International Education Section of the Higher Education Authority wishes to create a pool of project evaluators for a number of programmes operated under the aegis of the Erasmus+ Programme and/or Irish Government funded initiatives.

  • Erasmus+ Programme:

Erasmus+ is the EU’s programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. Its budget of €14.7 billion will provide opportunities for over 4 million Europeans to study, train, gain experience, and volunteer abroad.

Set to last until 2020, Erasmus+ doesn’t just have opportunities for students. Merging seven prior programmes, it has opportunities for a wide variety of individuals and organisations.

Detailed information on these opportunities, including eligibility criteria, is available in the Erasmus+ Programme Guide. An indicative funding guide for some centralised opportunities is also available.

Full details of this may be found on  www.Eurireland.ie  under Erasmus+ Call for Proposals 2018-2019

  • 2018 Government of Ireland (GOI) International Education scholarships:

At the request of the Department of Education and Skills, the Higher Education Authority will provide 60 scholarships for one-year of study at Bachelors, Master or PhD levels to successful Irish higher education institutions in 2018-19 for students from non-EU/EEA countries.  The offer is open to all fields of study.

Full details of this may be found on www.hea.ie under Call for Proposals 2018-2019
