The European Commission has launched a pilot project for the development of digital skills through Erasmus+ traineeships – known as the “Digital Opportunity Scheme”– it will be implemented under Erasmus+ calls 2018 and 2019. The aim is to better support higher education students in all disciplines to acquire the digital skills necessary to thrive in the modern world and successfully tackle the challenges that the future holds.

A communications toolkit has been developed by DG Education and Culture in co-operation with DG CNECT to assist with the promotion of the initiative.
