The Erasmus+ National Agency was party to an Irish Universities Association (IUA) study on developing a toolkit to support the wider participation of under-represented students in mobility study and work periods in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).

The next Erasmus Programme for the period 2021-27 will place a key emphasis on promoting social inclusion.  The IUA toolkit and report will be very useful aids for higher education institutions and others who wish to address objectives in this area.

The project was funded by the European Commission as part of Key Action 3 – Support for Policy Reform.  The University of Limerick and Limerick Institute of Technology were key participants in the survey undertaken by the IUA.

A parallel study and toolkit were also developed by Universities UK.
