The symposium “Smart Cities, Secure Societies: Breakthroughs in EU and Japan Research Cooperation” will be held on 24 October 2018 at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). This event will feature the latest collaboration between Japan and the EU in disaster resilience, energy, mobility and cultural identity, introduced by prominent researchers from Japanese and EU institutions.
