Update on applications for Centralised Actions 2019

Figures have been released by the European Commission in relation to applications under the 2019 Call for support under three centralised international higher education actions.
1 Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees (EMJMD)
A total of 97 proposals were received compared to 111 in 2018. France with 29 applications tops the list followed by Belgium on 8. The applications cover in excess of 750 different higher education institutions from programme and partner countries.
2 EMJMD-IUEP
A first call for proposals for the joint EU-Japan joint master programme was launched under the 2019 Call. Ten proposals were received, co-ordinated by France, Belgium (2), Austria, Finland, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands and Spain.
Selection results for both calls will be known in mid July 2019.
3 Capacity Building in the Field of Higher Education
A total of 840 admissible proposals were received down from 887 in 2018 involving 127 of the 176 countries eligible. Selection results will be known in late July 2019.
