The Erasmus+ National Agency at the HEA has just under €15m to allocate to student and staff mobilities and strategic partnerships under the 2019-2020 Erasmus+ call.  This is the largest amount to be allocated since the Erasmus programme began in 1987.

The amount includes the following:

  • €11,811,664  student and staff mobilities to Programme Countries (EU 28 and Iceland, Turkey, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Serbia and Norway)
  • €1,838,349 student and staff mobilities to and from Partner Countries (Rest of the world)
  • €1,232,996 for strategic partnerships

The funds will support almost 5,000 individual mobilities to and from Ireland in the period 2019-2020.

Further details will be released later this week.
