Ireland to receive over €27m in Erasmus+ Funding in 2021

Ireland will receive €27,435,408 in 2021 – the first year of the new Erasmus+ Programme 2021-2027.  The budget is shared with Léargas the National Agency for the other education sectors, Youth and the European Solidarity Corps.

The  budget split is

  • Key Action 1 Learning Mobility for Individuals €16,927,784
  • Key Action 2 Co-operation for Innovation and the Exchange of Good Practices €10,507,624

The allocation for Higher Education for 2021 is €11,798,571 broken down as follows

  • Key Action 1 Learning Mobility  for Individuals €8,614,662
  • Key Action 2 Co-operation for Innovation and the Exchange of Good Practices €3,183,909

The announcement by the European Commission of the Call 2021-22 and the Programme Guide are being awaited.
