Ireland and Baltic Countries in Erasmus Programme 2021 – 2027

There is a keen interest expressed by prospective Erasmus+ participants from the Baltic Countries in visiting Ireland. We would like to facilitate these exchanges, increasing the numbers of outbound students and staff from Irish HEIs to Latvian HEIs and establish/enhance existing strategic partnerships between Irish and Latvian Higher Education.

To that end, we have been working closely with our colleagues in the Lithuanian and Latvian National Agencies along with the embassies of both countries. Work is also underway with other Baltic countries, e.g Estonia. Watch this space!

For any queries/ comments/ suggestions in relation to the Ireland and Baltic countries project, please email Erasmus@hea.ie

• collect opinions and evidence on the problem and various solutions (policy options) to address it
• create a robust and evidence-based analysis

The consultation is open until 5 May 2023
